Job Description:
- Basic Engineering Package preparation for process design.
- Preparation and review of equipment design and plant capacity calculations.
- Pump and equipment sizing, pressure drop (liquid/gas), HMB and utility calculations.
- Preparation of BFDs, PFDs, P&IDs, and ULDs.
- Process mapping for new and existing plant setups.
- Preparation of plant layouts as per DISH regulations.
- Understanding of local and global regulations/standards.
- Skilled in scale-up rules and simulation software (Aspen, Aspen EDD, Dynochem, Cadem).
- PSV and rupture disc sizing as per APO standards.
- Expertise in process safety data interpretation (RC, ARC, DSC etc.).
- Preparation of interlocks, cause & effect, batch sequence, IPDS, and control philosophy.
- Knowledge of hazardous area classification.
- Understanding of cGMP, process validation, and ICHQ7 guidelines.
- Preparation of room data sheets for HVAC calculations.
