Position 1: Safety Officer
Job Location: Coromandel International Limited, Ankleshwar, Gujarat
Qualification
- B.E. Chemical (Preferred)
- OR
- M.Sc Chemistry / Environment Science + PDIS
Experience
- 3 to 4 Years of Relevant Experience
Key Responsibilities
- Conducting Risk Assessments: Identify workplace hazards and develop mitigation strategies.
- Training and Education: Train employees on safety protocols and safety standards.
- Monitoring Compliance: Ensure compliance with health and safety legislation through audits and inspections.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate accidents, document findings, and implement corrective actions.
- Promoting Safety Culture: Foster a safety-first culture and encourage safe work practices.
- Managing Safety Equipment: Oversee procurement and maintenance of safety equipment.
- Emergency Preparedness: Develop emergency response plans and conduct drills.
- Record Keeping: Maintain safety inspection, incident, and training records.
- Communication: Coordinate with supervisors, safety teams, and emergency response personnel.
The selected Safety Officer will play a key role in implementing safety policies, conducting inspections, identifying hazards, and promoting workplace safety across the organization.
