AUTOMATION PROJECT ENGINEER
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Automation Developer - is a professional who has proficient knowledge of technical details, participates in planning projects and installations, embraces continuous improvement, is rigorously dedicated to extraordinary quality and customer service, and continuously strives to improve communication channels. Executes installations of new systems ranging from a single piece to multiple pieces of equipment. On existing systems completes modifications, upgrades, and expansions to include additions to the system.
• Creates and modifies Siemens programmable logic controller (PLC) programs for our various ASU, LNG and

packaged applications. • Creates and modifies HMI programs for our production.
• Designs engineering systems for the automation of industrial tasks
⚫ Researches, selects, or applies the following: sensors, vision systems, communication technologies, control devices for
motion control, position sensing, and pressure sensing. ⚫ Identifies and selects materials appropriate for automation system designs.
• Analyses existing development or manufacturing procedures and suggest improvements:
• Creates and modifies programs for Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Human Machine Interface (HMI), Variable
Frequency Drive (VFD), and motor control devices.
Use and maintain electrical related software programs. • Oversees the work of contractors in accordance with project requirements ⚫ Communicates design information and works effectively as a team with manufacturing personnel • Troubleshoots equipment problems. Tests faulty equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test equipment or software and applying knowledge of the functional . Attends industry related training . Maintain and complete task schedule including written and verbal requests • Maintain detailed back-up of all control related programs. . Design electrical enclosure and installation planning and execution. Must have Minimum 3-4 Years of experience as an Automation Developer in manufacturing organization with bachelor's degree or Diploma
⚫ Inspects components of industrial equipment for accurate assembly and installation including review of blueprints, • Coordinates projects by controlling the schedules, budgets, interfacing with customers, and overall project management.

⚫ Confer with engineering staff to resolve problems.
⚫ Design electrical installation for the project and prepare LOM
• Prepare electrical AutoCAD drawings.
• Participate in review meetings of engineering deliverable. ⚫ Handling Projects documents database
• Reviewing / checking of documents SLD, Electrical enclosure GA Layout, Electrical schematic etc. Reviewing/Checking Datasheet for components placed on system as per project specifications.
⚫ Functional testing of electrical equipment and Instruments to minimize commissioning time on site. • Asist project manager and project engineer for other project activities.
