Position Overview
The Plant Manager will be responsible for leading and overseeing plant operations related to Aromatic and Chemical Fragrance Products, ensuring safe, efficient and compliant manufacturing processes while consistently achieving production, quality and operational targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and supervise day-to-day production and shift operations.
- Plan and monitor batch-wise production to achieve output, quality, yield and turnaround time.
- Operate and control reactors, distillation systems and associated process equipment.
- Monitor and optimize critical process parameters.
- Ensure proper raw material charging, reaction control, distillation and solvent recovery activities.
- Identify process deviations and troubleshoot operational issues.
- Implement CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions).
- Coordinate with Maintenance and QA/QC teams.
- Maintain manufacturing records, batch logs and shift reports.
- Support trial batches, process scale-up activities and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive yield improvement, waste reduction and energy optimization programs.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, GMP, ISO standards and environmental norms.
- Manage effective shift handovers and operational continuity.

- Strong understanding of aromatic chemical manufacturing processes.
- Experience with reactors, distillation columns, solvent recovery systems and batch processing.
- Excellent troubleshooting and process optimization skills.
- Knowledge of safety management systems, GMP, ISO and regulatory compliance.
